Here we are, Saturday. On a cold, cold morning right after the Autumnal Equinox, which doesn’t exactly affect us physically, since this country’s concept can only be two things: wet or dry. Still, we’re seeing the Halloween trends slowly overtaking the season, which is one of our holy trio of year-enders, and DOESN’T THAT GET YOU EXCITED???

In other news, I’m still going through my manuscript in an attempt to 1.) cut down the words to a good 80k, which is not possible, since the best number for Saltfolk is 82k and 2.) removing the unnecessary words, which involved skimming through the entire story from top to finish. I’m doing nicely, I think. I’m also praying HARD I find the agent, and we find the right publisher for it.

Meanwhile, here is how my week went:

Monday

Wait… I just finished 1-10 this Monday?

I think I have a very vague idea of what my house will look like

Tuesday

THE BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH GAVE ME QUITE A SCARE

From 85k, I managed to cut it down to 82k. I hope it’s a good number.

Wednesday

My Short Struggle with Doubt: A Thread

Thursday

Good things happen when you give

Friday

My new favorite verse, and possibly the heart of Saltfolk!

The same time back in 2015, this news happened.

Because of that, here’s a Toru gif:

I know my decision to not go this time, but still, who knows?
