It’s 11.11 and the only magic that happened so far is my money suddenly disappearing from my account, thanks to my shopping spree. Okay, hold it; it’s Christmas, sales are everywhere, and I have thought about things twice or thrice before succumbing to the delicious feeling of clicking ‘Buy’ and seeing my money slowly, slowly shrink to 0.

Well, in fairness, I haven’t bought anything nice for myself for so long, and nobody would, so I do the splurging on my own. I queen-ify myself.

Ah, yes, it’s about my week, right? How about that part where I wasn’t spending money? Here’s what happened:

Monday

I will have to tell you I’ve had strange, strange dreams this week.

If you’re wondering, my NaNoWriMo WIP title is Salamanca Zero. Yep. It’s magic.

FINALLY, I SAID SOMETHING THAT MADE SENSE IN MY LIFE

Tuesday

Freelancing is the best decision I have made in this life, so far. And being able to work with such amazing people with amazing brands is a lovely opportunity for me. I may not get to see them face to face, but kindness transcends. Like this one:

When I read on someone’s Twitter that we were “intentionally placed,” it took a minute for that entire wonderful feeling to soak in.

Wednesday

Oh, look. Another strange dream.

Also, TWITTER HAS 280 CHARACTERS I AM SCREAMING, THE WORLD IS A MESS

Thursday

Love this so much

Things that happen when you’re past 30:

Friday

Did I mention a strange dream? Yes? Well, here’s another one.

Saturday

The dreams don’t end, do they?

Casting those weird things aside, it’s been a fulfilling week: finished my NaNoWriMo chapters ahead, submitted all my write-ups, got 2 rejections and didn’t feel so bad about it (LIE!), got an invitation for the journal launch, sent another DVPit query, and finished the entire box of Krispy Kremes all to myself. Right now, it’s thirty minutes past seven, I’m wearing batik, I’m going to write the rest of my story and wait patiently for the many good things to arrive, both literally and figuratively, and finish this hot cup of chocolate.

You go have a pleasant weekend. x
