We often stumble over unfamiliar borders, such as this, a space clad with pinks and grays, because I adore soft colors and minimalist designs, but lots of words. I write a lot – on weekends, more specifically. My Week in Tweets is a rambling using my tweets from Monday to Friday; a perfect way to pass time if you love quick snarks and texts without contexts. Things get serious on The Weekend Closing, because, more often than not, I write this after my jaunt in the kids’ ministry, which I still haven’t let go of two decades since I started. Yes, I am that old.
But I write other things too, like poems, like devotions, like essays when I feel like it, and when I do nicely, I don’t post it here. I post them somewhere else. I love secrets. I also love showing off, sometimes, and I am glad to tell you that my creative works are all over the internet. On Medium. On online journals. On old Tumblr blogs I have forgotten to update. I still update one, though: it’s Most Unlikely.
I work as a copywriter by day; the content backbone of some of the amazing brands about to wow you. If you’re curious about my work, sneak into Work. Should you want to actually work with me, you can request published clips and other details by emailing me: firstname.lastname@example.org.
But I don’t just copywrite. Also write stories. Currently, I’m taking The Great Querying Journey and I hope to find someone to champion me. After all, it’s not easy trying to invade the western publishing world when your feet are in the Philippines, where, most of the time, you feel helpless and hopeless and stuck. But so far, I’ve met amazing people, many of them bearing the same three-star-one-sun soul as me, and they’ve been an inspiration, for they finally got their publishing stints up-and-coming, and I wish them all the best.
While I’m at that, I’m writing small chunks of inspiration and put them all in one place: an Instagram account, because, why not? I have a lot of words and they spill over here, there, and everywhere else. If you’re feeling a bit down, may these words help you to get through.
I live to write. Literally. It’s a passion that gives and a passion that grows. If you’re on a writing journey and needed kind words to help you through, find it here. Or, if you’re a regular human on a quest to collect other regular humans – for science – you have my words for borrowing. You can’t take them away, though. Check out this blog’s TOS on the footer.
