Rounding up this weekend before I take a big dive at writing my beloved little baby! Children’s practice starts tomorrow and I might not make it to Weekend Closing, but I’ve got a lot of nice things to share to you (or, to be more precise, vent out). Nights have been loud in our subdivision, most especially because a grill just opened nearby, and they’ve got a live house band that we can hear warbling from the distance. I cannot imagine how everything will sound like once it’s New Year week. It’s going to be CHAOS.
Two nice things arrived at my doorstep this week: my 2019 journals (yay!) and that super-secret project I have been working on ’till the end of November. It came, nicely wrapped in a carton pouch. I’d like to write a post about it soon when the gift has been given. But for now, I could only give spoilers.

I just want to tell you I’ve seen the Avengers 4 trailer last night and I don’t have feels for it? And it’s weird? And I’m glad Ant-Man made me laugh in the end?
Oh, and I’ve started listening back to ONE OK ROCK and I’ve got a thread of comments on their songs. I only tell the truth.
I never mentioned this but the guitar line on the [intro part of the] chorus of 完全感覚Dreamer always gave me the imagery of an Asian man with shaggy blonde rockstar hair. idk why and I’m sorry huhuhu— Caris Cruz (@hellocaris) December 5, 2018
Congratulations to the ever shining Annie Stoll who just had her SECOND Grammy Nomination! This is already an achievement!

Right now, I’m using WordPress’ block-based editor and I’m trying to get the hang of it. If you’re wondering what it is, the UI feels like Medium, although you’re more in-control of what shows up on your editor (e.g. it collects the block-types you use the most and put it on top of the list). To sum it all off, it is MORE COMPLICATED. You’d be making more movements than you did in the past editors, such as clicking more drop-downs and making more blocks, but I guess it’s more visual-friendly. Plus, I got to live with this and I cannot complain. Just so you’d know, I have already tried different block types so I’d see which ones look good using embeds.
I admit, though, that I am writing this quite nonsensical post to ease my mind off heavy writing (for a while) and try this new UI. AND to post something here, because my blog has been pretty lonely.
Anyways, follow me on Twitter, @hellocaris. I tweet lovely things occasionally.
Now, back to writing! x
