Because Mondays are the best days to start a random post that I, of course, won’t consistently write for in the coming season.
Back to rejoicing.
We won the universe? Check.
The milk isn’t spoilt? Check.
Finished my before-dues? Check.
Cake? Check, check, check.
We got home late in the afternoon yesterday and I was too absorbed eating pizza rather than make a post, so here we are. This blog is my procrastination dump. But before you raise your brows, I would like to tell you that, on Sunday:
- The kids practiced their play on mics (which also led some to writhe and curl and feel like their dying inside but IT IS SUCH A SMALL PLAY my tiny little tots. You can do it!)
- We’ve also thought of ways to set the backdrop, yet to be printed this week, on the altar, which includes my brother fixing one of the mic stands the church just dumped at the pastoral house
- We spent Php 100 on Spanish bread alone. Spanish bread. IT COSTS Php 5 now, I mean, where are we? I did get to feed the ones who really worked hard for their play, and I am especially proud of their tiny, tiny steps
- Best effort. This play won’t be a dazzler, but I am glad to give the kids an opportunity to at least showcase themselves in a different light. I hope this breaks walls. I hope the church gives them the space and nurturing they needed.
Hey, WordPress, I just want you to know that these blocks are supremely DISRUPTIVE and I don’t like them. Not one bit. Bring us the old editor. The tab and enter and switch things cuts the flow and I am all about the flow (even though my flows aren’t always nice but still). This. Is. Not. Working for me.
Last night, I had a dream that will probably change my life. Follow my Stranger Dreams tweets and see which it was.
I just dropped by to write these things because I want to squeeze out these Monday residues. It’s Christmas season and I’ve got a lot of work to do from here on. Wish me luck. x
