Is this a non-weekend post? It is a non-weekend post! I’m resting my head from all those intentionally well-thought-of (but rather tacky) words for a breather. And also, I’m working on something that’s, um, really trying. So trying that my shoulders are aching and I’m contemplating on getting that iPad Pro this year because digitally drawing using a mouse, or keypad, is not my talent. Nope.
If you could see what I’m looking at right now, you’re going to shake your head and say, “Move along, sister. That one’s a wreck without salvation.”
So, a few things. Because I’m going to use at least ten minutes to ramble (and not edit, as usual), here’s a warning: turn away, or strap yourself in. Here we go.
On Tuesday morning (evening in the west-side, you non-sleepers who stay awake ’till dawn), there has been a talk about Patreon’s changes, which, I’m sorry to say, dear creators, will roll off a few additional fees on your part. This change, luckily, doesn’t happen until May. I’ve been meaning to start my own Patreon just in case I don’t find a home for my stories, and I have decided there’s no better time to launch it than now – when nobody’s asking for it. Hah.
Caris is on Patreon
Last week, I’ve been on Cardcaptor Sakura binge mode and it feels SO NICE to rewatch all those kiddy shoujo animations that made me feel giddy. I only watched it on Philippine TV when I was younger, and even though it was replayed a lot of times, I’ve missed a lot of episodes, and the local channel cut some of the parts. Ugh. I have a new (actually, old) voice-crush! I’m weeping why did I just watch this now.
Speaking of crushes, I feel like a grown-up crushing on Takumi Saito? Dude. DUUUUDE.
Since I’m done with CCS (I blame you, unfinished Clear Card Hen), I’m watching the underrated, unappreciated, but totally adorable My Little Monster. Nope, not the Japanese pop group. Is there a Japanese pop group named like so? But, going back. Hear me out on my complaints:

If not for work, I’m taking a break from writing. YES, THIS IS HAPPENING. Even if I was drafting WIP #2 and has been contemplating on how to recreate WIP #3 (because I made a promise). I think MS #1 is so convoluted and I need to step away to see where the wrinkles are so I could iron them properly. As Shizuku realized, I’ve been setting too much expectations with myself that my only goal was to hit the bull’s eye. I’m going to flip for once and be a Haru.
Or so, I wish.
I’m planning to post something on Patreon soon, so please, please, please support it when you can! xBecome a Patron!
